(002) Daydreams

[Phone] So everyone had a similar kind of dream, hmm? And a lot of people were taken in by it. You know, some say that dreams are like a window into your mind, but it's a little hard to think of them that way when someone else is messing around with them. I hope the people talked about in the newscast are all right...

Well, if anyone wants to talk, I can keep you company! I think we all need a little help keeping our minds off of things.

They probably weren't forced, but dreams are tricky places. Things that are impossible seem real, and so when a choice like that is presented by a loved one, it's easy to see why some people would believe it.

What if he had been the one to give the horrible choice to Brother? What if their mother had? Teacher? Winry? He knows that if it were someone he really cared for, then Ed wouldn't hesitate.]

Do you think they'll come back?

I don't know. If what I hear about this place is true, they may very well be back in a few days. Then again, they might not. It's hard to say since apparently this kind of thing hasn't happened before.

So do I. I don't know anybody very well yet, but it really would be very sad if they were just gone.

We should probably be ready for the possibility that they are. But that doesn't mean there isn't anything we can do about it.

I know Brother would never leave me forever. [Let alone their mother, not now they had her back.] We have to find out who's got the real them.

We should round up everyone who's been changed, maybe... at least we can keep an eye on them.

We should probably ask them questions, too! It's true they might be intentionally misleading, but we still might be able to get some good information from them.

Well we could probably ask them to go to someplace like the school. They might prefer to stick together anyway, since they don't seem to have gotten a very good welcome.
